Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We understand the situation, and unfortunately, due to the aluminum construction, these vents can condensate, especially in a humid area like Florida. What might help is removing the louvers to allow more air to pass through, preventing it from being held in and causing the vent to sweat or condensate. This should reduce the moisture build up.
